Seminar planned for education program
By Staff
Educational Talent Search will conduct parent information sessions on the campus of Wallace State Community College Sept. 25. This session will be geared toward parents of students in grades 6 -12. Talent Search staff will provide information about what Talent Search is, how participating in Talent Search will benefit their student, and how parents may apply to the program. Talent Search is a free, federally funded TRIO program that seeks to provide academic assistance and college preparation information primarily to low income and/or first generation students (those whose parents did not attend a four-year college). Parents interested in the program should attend. It will begin at 6 p.m. in the auditorium of the James C. Bailey Building.
