Funeral for Betty Jean Matheny Moore, 43, of Hartselle was Monday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Clyde Ledlow officiating.
Burial was in Shaw Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at her residence. She was born Jan. 31, 1965, in Illinois. She was a Baptist and was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Lewis Matheny.
She is survived by her husband, William B. Moore of Hartselle; a son, Jeffrey Burl Allen Jr. of Decatur; three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Allen and Amber Nicole Moore, both of Hartselle and Brandy Moore of Decatur; a stepson, William Daniel Moore of Decatur; a stepdaughter, Amanda Clarke of Hartselle; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Arnold of Hartselle; a brother, Cecil Ray Hall of Leighton; two sisters, Martha Sue Taylor of Hartselle and Dorothy Ann Fields of Hueytown; two stepsisters, Mary Jewel Kirk and Elise Davis, both of Moulton; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tim Rogers, Ronnie Taylor, James Fields, Kenneth Jennings, Anthony Moore and Ty Murphy.
