Commission amends personnel policy manual

The Morgan County Commission amended the county’s personnel policy manual by excluding all employees under the supervision of the sheriff from the rules relating to the appointment, supervision, discipline, suspension and dismissal.
The move was made at an adjourned meeting on Tuesday after Sheriff Greg Bartlett confirmed he would continue to use the commission-appointed Personnel Review Board involving disciplinary matters.
In other matters:
Crusher Road in District 3. A public hearing was set for Oct. 28 at 8:30 a.m.
