Funeral for James Larry Harris, 59, of Birmingham was Saturday, Sept. 27, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Carrol and Roger Speakman officiating.
Burial was in Bell Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Harris died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at his residence. He was born May 21, 1949, in Barnesville, Ga., to James Thomas Harris and Kathleen Louise Ross Harris. He was self-employed as a painter.
He is survived by a son, Timothy James Harris of Pell City; his mother, Kathleen Harris of Birmingham; a brother, Tony Dewayne Harris of Birmingham; three sisters, Pat Williams of Falkville, Carol Speakman of Birmingham and Connie Ray of Pell City; and two grandchildren.
