Funeral for Birdie Irene Adams, 88, of Hartselle was Thursday, Oct. 2, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Persons officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Adams died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born Dec. 21, 1919, in Morgan County to Frank Thomas Ellenburg and Nina Lee Mooney Ellenburg.
She was a member of West End Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Newton Adams Jr. She is survived by a son, Wayne Adams of Hartselle; two sisters, Ann Bowman of California and Christine Hill of Hartselle; four grandchildren; and seven great -grandchildren. Pallbearers were Russ Adams, Dustin Baker, Tyler Cooke, Chip Cobb, Roger Cobb and Charlie Gandy.
