Funeral for Nancy Thompson Holloway, 87, of Falkville was Saturday, Oct. 11, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Sparkman officiating.
Burial was in Decatur City Cemetery.
Mrs. Holloway died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at Falkville Health and Rehab Center. She was born Mar. 29, 1921, in Morgan County to William Thompson and Mary Roberts Thompson. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Decatur and was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Thompson and a sister, Katie Marvin Mitchell.
She is survived by three sons, George A. Sarles III of Bay Village, Ohio, F. Kenny Holloway of Warner Robbins, Ga. and Edward “Marty” M. Holloway of Macon, Ga.; two daughters, Kathy H. Lusk of Anderson, S.C. and Sara “Sally” Woodall of Hartselle; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-niece, Mary Kate Cooper of Decatur.
