Salvation Army hosts final signup

The Salvation Army is now accepting applications for Christmas signups.
Applications will be accepted Nov. 3-7 from 9 a.m.- noon at Salvation Army at 114 14th Street SW in Decatur. Use the gymnasium entrance.
Only one application per dwelling will be accepted. People applying for assistance must bring personal identification (Social Security card, driver’s license, etc.) for each household member. Verification of birthdays for all children age 12 and younger must be provided through original birth certificates.
A proof of all bills, including property tax information if you own property, must be provided. A phone number and verification of income must be provided. No applications will be accepted over the phone and no children are allowed in the gym.
