Local man finds way to improve gas mileage

Greg Liles of Hartselle, a car detailer by trade, has found a partial answer to the high cost of gasoline.
His use of Eviromax Plus as a fuel catalyst in his passenger car and his wife Marilyn’s van has resulted in a 30 to 35 percent improvement in gas mileage. Plus, their vehicles have more power, cleaner engines and leave fewer pollutants behind.
The Liles learned about the gasoline additive five months ago from a friend, Paul Lochner of Chicago.
I answered, “What are you talking about? It’s killing our economy.”
A few days later Liles got an urgent phone call from his wife while she was buying gas at Wal-Mart.
“I knew I had to act fast so I called my friend in Chicago and asked him if he could put me in touch with a local distributor,” Liles said. “He gave me the name of Scott Chandler of Sumiton, another friend of mine. When I reached him he was building a house in Attalla. When I learned that he had some of the catalyst on his truck, I drove over to pick it up.
Liles said a week after he started using the additive his car’s gas mileage rose from 37 to 42 mpg. Eventually, it increased to 51 mph.
He now owns a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu with a highway rating of 28 mpg. With the use of Enviromax, he has boosted its fuel efficiency to 51 mpg.
The product also works with equal or better results on lawn and garden equipment and farm tractors, according to Liles.
Lane Johnston, a retired insurance agent who lives in Jasper started using the additive in July. It has increased the fuel efficiency of his lawn equipment about 50 percent and boosted the mileage he is getting on his 2006 F-150 4×4 pickup from 16.1 to 24 mpg.
As a distributor, Liles is now asking his friends and neighbors “how do you like the price of gas” and inviting them to learn more about how to curb the cost of gas by visiting his website at gascomputer.com.
