Two arrested after meth lab found

A shake and bake-style methamphetamine laboratory was discovered after Hartselle Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle last week.
HPD was attempting to stop a vehicle that had been reported stolen when the drivers fled and threw items from the vehicle. Once officers stopped the vehicle, they found several items, including precursor chemicals and a pot used in the shake and bake method of making methamphetamine. Arrested at the scene were Jenny Smith, 32, and Gyn Hamm, 34. They were charged with unlawful manufacturing in the second degree. They were taken to the Morgan County Jail.
