Funeral for Julie Connell McCurry, 68, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jacky Connell officiating. Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Mrs. McCurry died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born May 18, 1940, in St. Clair County to James Henry Connell and Ethel Irene Williams McCurry. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of God. Her husband, Ralph McCurry, preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Dale Austin McCurry and wife Ginger of Pell City and Kenneth Dewayne McCurry of Hartselle; two brothers, Jim Connell and the Rev. Jacky Connell, both of Leeds; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Daniel Stolher, Derrick Gray, Blake McCurry, Phillip Gray, Hayde Williams and Richard Thomas.
