Funeral for Louise Henderson, 78, of Somerville was Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. at West Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Harry Saint officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in West Point Cemetery.
Mrs. Henderson died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born June 15, 1930, in Morgan County to Roy Wray and Floye West Wray. She was retired from the Morgan County School System where she served as a school cafeteria director. She was active in her community and a lifelong member of West Point Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Aubrey Gene Henderson and wife Sharon, Jeffrey Henderson and Gerald “Jerry” Henderson, all of Somerville; a brother, Billie Wray of Arab; a sister, Hazel Wood of Somerville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a goddaughter.
