Funeral for Doyle E. Baker, 64, of Hamilton, was Sat., Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Posey officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery.
Mr. Baker died Wed., Nov. 5, 2008, at Cooper Green Hospital.
He was born Aug. 11, 1944, in Jefferson County to Albert Oliver Baker and Lillie Mae Turner Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Edward Baker, Linnie Baker and Roger Baker.
He is survived by a son, Doyle Baker, Jr.; a brother, Stevie Baker; five sisters, Clara Wagner, Virginia Rillins, Vennie Terry, Marjorie Huber and Carolyn Witt; a grandson, Christopher Cryer; a granddaughter, Mary Kay Baker; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
