Funeral for Troy Olen Mooneyham, 65, of Priceville will be Thursday (today), Nov. 13, at 3 p.m. at Somerville Church of God with the Rev. Pearl Jenkins and Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Mooneyham died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at his residence. He was born Mar. 18, 1943, in Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Olen Mooneyham, and a sister, BonitaVarela.
He is survived by his wife, Jeffery Carol Grantland Mooneyham of Priceville; a son, Christopher Olen Mooneyham and wife Patty of Hartselle; a daughter, Candis Joy Mooneyham Partridge and husband Bill of Priceville; his mother and stepfather, Ida Kate and Don York of Atmore; a brother, Eddie Dean Mooneyham and wife Pam of Whitwell, Tenn.; two sisters, Denise Thorton and Donna Blaylock and husband Roger, all of Pensacola, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Alex Cannon, Austin Partridge and Madeline Grace Mooneyham.
Pallbearers will be Ted Grantland, Eddie Mooneyham, Dillard McElroy, Dustin Hill, Ted Ely and Austin Partridge.
Honorary pallbearers will be Duel Hammonds, Donald Poole, John Mooneyham and Steve Fox.
