Funeral for Gary Wayne Writesel, 54, of Lacey’s Spring was Friday Nov. 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Martha Hardin and Timothy Hardin officiating.
Burial was in Somerville Cemetery.
Mr. Writesel died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at UAB Hospital. He was a member of Ray of Hope Church in Somerville.
He worked as an assembler for Current Circuits in Arab. He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Writesel Monday.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Blevins Writesel of Lacey’s Spring; a son, Wayne Writesel and wife Jessica, stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; and a granddaughter, Makenzie Writesel.
Pallbearers were Timothy Hardin, Adam Pylant, Bob Sterling, Frankie Morgan, Keith Blevins and W.E. James.
