A graveside service and inurnment for Nancy Allen Tanksley, 86, of Franklin, Tenn. was Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 2 p m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Franklin, Tenn. with Dr. James H. Beasley Jr officiating and Williamson Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Tanksley died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008. She grew up in Nashville, Tenn. and was a resident of Hartselle for several years prior to moving to Franklin. She was a member of Hartselle First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex B. and Sue Still Allen; and her husband, Howard W. Tanksley.
She is survived by a son, Allen Tanksley and wife Patty of Smyrna, Tenn.; two daughters, Kitty Beasley and husband Larry of Franklin, Tenn. and Amy Bell and husband Mark of Lavergne, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Jennifer Beasley, Tom Beasley and wife Brandie, Will Tanksley and wife Anna ,Chris Tanksley and wife Michelle and Patrick Bell; and six great-grandchildren.
