A graveside service for Dennis Ray Waddell Sr., 54, of Falkville was Saturday, Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. at Falkville City Cemetery with Bro. Doug Hemphill officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing,
Mr. Waddell died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at his residence. He was born Jan 31, 1954, in Maryland to Robert Monroe Waddell and Clarine Waddell.
He is survived by a son, Dennis Ray Waddell Jr. of Falkville; a daughter, Wendy Whitsell of Elkton, MD; his mother, Clarine Newsome of South Carolina; five brothers, Johnny Waddell and Ronnie Waddell, both of Maryland, Robert Waddell of Falkville and Jerry Newsome and Jeff Newsome, both of Delaware; two sisters, Linda Golt and Joyce Webb, both of South Carolina; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were family members and friends.
