Funeral for Loyd L Taylor, 79, of Falkville will be Thursday (today), Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. at Faith Independent Church in Falkville with Bro. Darrell Kimbril officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
The body will lie instate one hour before the service.
Burial will be in Bell Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Sept. 22, 1929, in Lawrence County to Elam Taylor and Elsie Howard Taylor. He was preceded in death by a grandson, “Biggin” Matthew Crosswhite.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Mae Turney Taylor of Falkville; a son, Leslie L. Taylor and wife Rashana of Vinemont; a daughter, Rita Jean Taylor Crosswhite of Cullman; a brother, Shefton Taylor of Oden Ridge; and four grandchildren, Kimberly Crosswhite, Brie Anna Thompson, Leslie Shianne Taylor and Chastity Lashae Partain,
Pallbearers will be Wayne Kelsoe, Paul Burnside, Charlie Partain, Jason Speegle, Joey Kyle and Jeff Turney.
Honorary pallbearers will beBobby Roy and Jordan Beasley.
