Man charged after machines found

A Hartselle man has been charged in connection with gambling devices found inside his store located just outside the city limits.
Charles Kent Murphy, 55, of 4702 Danville Road, Hartselle, is being held on $500 bond after being charged with possession of a gambling device.
Members of the Decatur Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit assisted the Alabama Alcohol Beverage Control Board on an alcohol inspection at First Stop Last Stop located in southwest Hartselle. During the inspection, 10 video gambling devices were found.
