Funeral for Edith Vawdell Ramsey, 88, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie McDonald officiating.
Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Ramsey died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at her residence. She was born June 18, 1920, in Morgan County to Ruben Elbert Swann and Hettie Lee Preuitt Swann. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marion Ramsey.
She is survived by a son, Dannie Lee Ramsey of Hartselle; a daughter, Martha Ramsey Smith and husband Gary of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Junior Swann, Franklin Jones, Terry Smith and Stanley Smith
