Munger, Bratton to wed
Tom and Melanie Munger of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Breanna Paige Munger, to Marshall Tyler Bratton, son of Marion and Emily Bratton of West Point, Miss.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Etta Mae Thompson and the late Jerry Thompson of Hartselle and the late Bill and Pat Munger of Cullman. A 2005 graduate of Hartselle High School, she will graduate in May 2009 from Mississippi State University with a degree in professional meteorology. She is a member of Phi Mu Sorority.
The future groom is the grandson of James I. and Bobbie Jo Rhea of West Point, Miss. And the late Mr. and Mrs., Marion Bratton Jr. of West Point, Miss.
A 2002 graduate of Oak Hill Academy in West Point, Miss., he is a 2007 graduate of Mississippi State with degree in secondary education.
He will receive a master’s degree in sports administration in May 2009 from MSU.
He played baseball for MSU and currently serves as director of baseball operations there.
The wedding is planned for Jan. 3, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Starkville, Miss.
Kirschbaum, Washburn to wed
Alan and Janine Kirschbaum of Priceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Dawn Kirschbaum, to Eric Wade Washburn, son of Michael and Wilma Washburn of Athens.
The future bride is a 2003 graduate of Hartselle High School.
She will graduate from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in December with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is employed with Fountain, Parker, Harbarger in Huntsville.
The groom is pursuing a degree in psychology at UAH. He is employed at Direct Buy in Huntsville.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 20 at Monte Sano Lodge in Huntsville.
