JIT receives tax abatement

JIT Industries Inc. in Hartselle will receive tax abatements as part of the company’s expansion plans.
The city has agreed to abate all non-education taxes for 10 years. In return, JIT will invest more than $1 million to expand their existing facilities and employ an additional six people.
The six jobs will create an annual payroll of $225,000.
