Funeral for Linda Gail Shirley, 65, of Somerville was Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Grimes officiating.
Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery.
Ms. Shirley died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Nov. 22, 1943, in Morgan County to Glenn Shirley and Jewel Orr Shirley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Shirley and a sister, Ruby Shirley.
She is survived by a son, David Bomar and wife Nathiea of Somerville; two daughters, Lisa Davis of Somerville and Kathy Dickerson and husband Barry of Lacey’s Spring; two brothers, Wayne Shirley and wife Linda of Hartselle and Philip Shirley and wife Renae of Athens; a sister, Fran Charest and husband Dean of Somerville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jamie Ledbetter, Michael Coggins, Chris Brown, Glenn Shirley, Jamie Ledbetter Jr. and Jason Thurman.
