Priceville routs Columbia

Priceville dominated Columbia with 54-point first-half on the way to a 96-13 victory.
The fourth-ranked Lady Bulldogs led 54-2 at the half.
Six Priceville players scored in double figures in the win.
Jordan Crow led the way with 15 points and Callie Cox added 14 points. Presley Darling added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs, who improved to 6-5 overall.
Priceville also got 12 points from both Chanel McLendon and Amber Smith.
Keila Hamlin had six points, seven rebounds and eight assists for Priceville. Krystin Smith added eight points and six rebounds.
Katelyn St. John chipped in with six points and eight rebounds.
Danville 46, Winfield 32
The Lady Hawks got a double-double from Ashley Nance in a win over Winfield.
Nance finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds as Danville improved to 8-1.
Lacey Evans added eight points in the win.
The third-ranked Lady Hawks started slowly, falling behind by as many as 8 points in the first half before going on a 9-0 run to take a 20-19 lead heading into the second half.
Danville held Winfield without a field goal in the 4th quarter to break open a tight game
Kayla Nizamins led Winfield with 14 points.
Brewer 56, Arab 38
The seventh-ranked Lady Patriots blasted ninth-ranked Arab 56-38.
Morgan Crawley finished with 17 points to lead Brewer. Kendra Jones added 12 points in the win.
Chelsey Smith chipped in with nine points.
Arab’s Jessica Bailey led the Lady Knights with 13 points. Haley Tidmore finished with 11 points.
Danville 42, Good Hope 41
Ashley Nance scored 21 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as Danville knocked off Good Hope 42-41.
Danville improved to 7-1 on the season with the victory.
Nance also had seven steals in the game.
Danville also got 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals from Kayloni Cross.
The game had 13 lead changes with each team leading by no more than five points the entire game.
Good Hope’s Kayla Elrod added 13 points.
Priceville 63, Douglas 40
Priceville guard Keila Hamlin scored 21 points and Melissa Johnson added 12 points and a game-high 15 rebounds as the Lady Bulldogs hammered Douglas.
Pricevlle also got nine points and five rebounds from Presley Darling.
Boys’ games
Priceville 72, Douglas 65
Priceville picked up its sixth win of the season with a 21-point outing by Jacolby Reid.
Tyler Croft added 15 points, while Cody Smith finished with 12 points in the Bulldogs’ win. Kristian Barker chipped in 11 points for Priceville.
Cleveland 67, Falkville 50
Despite getting 16 points from Trevor Meyer and 14 from Jake Randolph, Falkville was unable to overcome Cleveland.
Randolph added nine rebounds in the loss.
Colton Bearden had 27 points for Cleveland.
Good Hope 52, Danville 43
Erick Cordova finished with a game-high 19 points in Danville’s loss to Good Hope.
Russell Standridge finished with seven points and seven rebounds in the loss.
Good Hope’s Brody Whitlock finished with 17 points.
Brewer 62, Arab 60
Kohl Sowder scored 16 points and Preston Hackett finished with 12 points as Brewer held off Arab.
Chris Dickerson added nine points in the victory.
Arab’s Jared Meyers finished with 18 points.
Columbia 52, Priceville 48
Priceville fell to 5-5 overall despite getting 14 points from Jacolby Reid in a 52-48 loss to Columbia.
Tyler Croft added 13 points for the Bulldogs. Wesley Baker had a team-high seven rebounds and Cody Smith chipped in with three assists in the loss.
