Somerville lands water grant

Somerville will be receiving $250,000 designed to improve its waster service. The money will be used to upgrade water lines on Black Road, Prayer Barn Road and portions of Barnett Chapel Road.
The areas are now served by small lines and plagued by low water pressure. The new lines will improve water flow into the area. It will also allow for fire hydrants to be installed in the area. The town is planning to install seven fire hydrants in the area.
