Funeral for Eulas Herschal Hill, 90, of Danville was Monday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Chris Godbee, Wendell Callahan and Wayne Penn officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Hill died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Jan. 31, 1918 in Lawrence County to Wattle (Bunk) Wallace Hill and Lela Filyaw Hill. He was retired from Solutia where he worked as a pipe fitter. He dearly loved his children, grandchildren and family and was preceded in death by his wife, Addie Bee Hensley Hill; a daughter, Sherry Hill Hensley; four brothers, Truitt Hill, Pete Hill, Truman Hill and Don Hill and a sister, Ola Hill Hogan.
He is survived by a son, Randall Hill and wife Sylvia of Danville; a daughter, Shelia Hill Kelsoe and husband Marty of Danville; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dywain Hill, Chad Kelsoe, Dustin Kelsoe, Blake Hill, David Thornton and Jason Montgomery.
Honorary pallbearers were Brenda Hill, Amy Montgomery, Amanda Kelsoe, Tim Hill, Tina Morgan, Samantha Thornton, Reagan Montgomey and Brayden Montgomery.
