Funeral for Jo Ann England Bell, 68, of Danville was Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Greg Standridge and Jeff Sherrell officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. Bell died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 20, 1940, in Morgan County to William Edward England and Martha Sue Tanner England. She was a member of Piney Grove Congregational Methodist Church. She was a nurse at Falkville Nursing Home, Summerford Nursing Home and Hartselle Medical Center for 26 years. She was an office nurse for Dr. W.C. Duncan and a part-time employee at Peck Funeral Home with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Frank W. Bell of Danville; two brothers, Mark England and Rickey England, both of Falkville; a sister, Paulette Stimmel of Falkville; two nieces, Chastity Pressnell and Amanda Stimmel McNutt; and a great-niece, Rylee Tanner Pressnell.
Pallbearers were Gary Bell, James Bell, Anthony England, David England, Jerry Beason and Phillip Bryant.
Honorary pallbearers were part-time employees of Peck Funeral Home.
