Funeral for the Rev. Eugene Lanier, 85, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Ledlow officiating.
Burial was in Bethel Cemetery.
Rev. Ledlow died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was born Jan. 23, 1923, in Morgan County to Everett Ervin Lanier and Berta Lee Hensley Lanier. He was a lifetime minister in the Morgan County area. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Jean Lanier; five brothers, Billy, Louis, Clyde, James and Joe Lanier; and two sisters, Barbara Lanier and Betty Ann Dobbins.
He is survived by his wife, Ola Mae Speakman Lanier of Hartselle.
