Discoveries part of string of drug-related arrests

Two methamphetamine labs – one at a Priceville hotel and another in a vehicle owned by a Hartselle man – were discovered last week.
Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and Narcotics and Violent Crimes Task Force searched a room at the Super 8 Motel at 70 Marco Drive in Priceville. The room’s occupant, William Gregory Holloway, 42, was arrested and charged with unlawful manufacture in the first degree. A search of the room, a vehicle and a dumpster revealed several one-pot clandestine methamphetamine labs. The vehicle Holloway was driving was later discovered to have been reported stolen in Birmingham.
Holloway was out on bond from the Decatur Police Department at the time of his arrest. He is being held on $500,000 bond.
In a separate incident, the task force was called in by the Hartselle Police Department after HPD stopped Brandon Williams, 37, for a driving a vehicle with a switched tag. Williams was also discovered to have outstanding warrants from Decatur.
A search of the car revealed a red phosphorous clandestine methamphetamine laboratory. Task Force agents later searched Williams’ residence in Hartselle and found a quantity of methamphetamine.
Williams is charged with unlawful manufacturing second degree and possession of methamphetamine. Williams is being held in the Morgan County Detention Center on a $7,500 bond.
The arrests are the latest in a series of drug-related arrests in the county in recent weeks. Last week, three meth labs were discovered in the county and a Falkville man was arrested this week after meth was found in a vehicle he was driving.
