Funeral for Elmer Freddie Brown, 80, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Dec. 24, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Brown died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born July 24, 1928, in Lawrence County to Thomas Walter Brown and Lula Maud McCormick Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Dunn Brown and seven brothers.
He is survived by a stepson, Jimmy Dunn; two stepdaughters, Marie Dunn and Loretta Bryant; three sisters, Ruth Wallace and Mavene Holt, both of Hartselle and Ruby George of Manchester, Tenn.
