James, Staniszewski wed
Heather Leanne James of Atlanta, formerly from Decatur, and Richard Michael Staniszewski, of Atlanta, were wed Oct. 10, 2008 at the Georgian Ballroom at the Biltmore Hotel in Atlanta.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Glendora James of Decatur. The groom is the son of Richard and Gail Staniszewski of Fayetteville, Ga.
The wedding was performed by Jeff Agur of Stockbridge, Ga.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a Jasmine couture vintage-inspired gown of silk organza and tiers of French alencon lace.
The alencon lace eyelashes accented the scalloped neckline and hemline.
Classic details of the gown included silk organza buttons, satin ribbon sash and a vintage broach. The bride wore a matching custom couture veil with French alencon trim. She carried hand-tied bouquet of white roses, stephanotis, orchids and hydrangeas.
The matron of honor was Dr. Tanya Sommerville Miller of Washington, DC, formerly from Decatur.
Bridesmaids were Kara Cook of Norcross, Ga.; Jessica Agur of Atlanta; Nicole Sheppe of Decatur, Ga. and Charidy Vinson of Atlanta.
Flower girls were Mira Agur of Atlanta, Abigail Bushnell and Anastasia Bushnell of Fayetteville, Ga.
Best man was Jason Agur of Atlanta.
Groomsmen were Daniel Clements of Atlanta; Jason Ett of Los Angeles; Michael McCormick of San Diego; and Robert Taylor of San Diego.
Bell Ringer was Ryan Jones of Decatur.
Ring Bearer was Austin Jones of Decatur.
Wedding musicians were the Celebrations Quartet of Atlanta.
The reception was held at the Imperial Ballroom at the Biltmore Hotel in Atlanta. Music was provided by Sentimental Journey Orchestra of Atlanta.
Wedding director was Tracy Garner of Atlanta.
After a wedding trip to Fiji, the couple will reside in Atlanta.
