Crestline students enjoy program

TVA and Hartselle Utilities partnered together earlier this month to bring “The Energized Guyz,” a live children’s theater production to Crestline Elementary School’s second and third graders.
The program seeks to help students and their families learn how to get more from their energy dollars through a live show that helps educate grade-school kids how energy is made and how using energy and water wisely is good for the family budget, good for the environment and good for the future,
The production features “The Energized Guyz” bringing their messages about the value of energy efficiency, renewable energy and water conservation. About 100 to 200 students participate in each 25-minute performance. At the end of the school year, more than 250,000 children will have participated in the program.
This is one of many ways TVA and local power distributors are partnering to increase consumer awareness on ways to use energy and water more efficiently and stretch consumer energy dollars, For more information on simple steps to help save energy and money on power bills, visit www.tva.com.
