Funeral for James Albert Millican, 78, of Falkville was Monday, Dec. 29, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Barbara Trussell and Tommy Graves officiating.
Burial was in Bell Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Millican died Saturday, Dec 27, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born March 20, 1930, in Cullman County to Charles Wesley Millican and Ethel Eason Millican. He was a retired self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Faye Taylor Millican of Falkville; six daughters, Teresa Martin and husband Leslie and Shelia Reynolds and husband Bruce, both of Trinity, Rebecca Johnson and husband Joey of Ardmore, Valerie Calvert and husband Steve of Hanceville, Debra Dodson and husband Andy of Madison and Christy Jacobs and husband Justin of Hartselle; a brother, Robert Millican of Vinemont; two sisters, Iva Mae Alvis of Gardendale and Vera Arnett of Stockbridge, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces.
