Russell, Ward exchange vows
Tracy Halbrooks Russell of Hartselle and Steven Jerome Ward of Hartselle were wed Nov. 1, 2008, at noon at Fairview Church of God in Falkville.
The bride is the daughter of Sylvia Halbrooks and the late Larry Joe Halbrooks of Falkville. The groom is the son of Steve and Kelly Ward of Hartselle.
Rev. Milan Dekich officiated the ceremony.
The bride wore a formal designer gown of ivory silk chiffon. The gown was fashioned with a deep square neckline trimmed with beading, short puffy sleeves and a ruche bodice. The flowing skirt fell from an empire waistline that was detailed with beading and swept into a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of pale pink and cream roses.
Debra Nixon of Mason, Ohio was matron of honor.
Scott Harper of Mobile was best man. Honorary groomsmen were Aden Russell, Ty Russell and Eli Russell, sons of the bride.
Music was provided by Monica Higginbotham.
After a wedding trip to Savannah, Ga., the couple resides in Hartselle.
