Funeral for Danny T. Scogin, 60, of Falkville was Monday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with friends officiating.
Burial was in Cook Cemetery.
Mr. Scogin died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Jan. 12, 1948, in Lawrence County to Ray Scogin and Clementine Crisler Scogin. He worked in the maintenance department at Hyosung (formerly Goodyear Tire &Rubber Co.).
He is survived his wife, Sherry Scogin of Falkville; a son, Scott Scogin of South Carolina; a daughter, Samantha Bolden of Sheffield; a brother, Mark Scogin of Texas; and six grandchildren.
Friends were pallbearers.
