Funeral for Eunice Hollowell Dickerson, 97, of Hartselle was Sunday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. at Pickens United Methodist Church in Pickens, Miss, with the Revs. George Butler and Grady Bailey officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Quiet Ridge Cemetery in Pickens.
Mrs. Dickerson died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Jan. 16, 1911, in Yazoo, Miss. to John Rayford Hollowell and Martha Naomi Daniels Hollowell. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Levan Dickerson; two sons, William Leon Dickerson and Bobby Ray Dickerson; and a daughter-in-law, Maryanne Dickerson.
She is survived by a son, Earl Stanley Dickerson and wife Marty of Hartselle; a daughter-in-law, Eleanor Brantley Dickerson of Jackson, Miss.; a sister, Mary Frances Barfoot of Raymond, Miss.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
