Brewer dominates Bearcats at home

FLORETTE - Brewer had three players finish in double figures Monday night in a 74-58 win over Cullman at home.
Cody Lanford led all scorers with 27 points, while Kohl Sowder added 14 points.
Brandon Murray picked up a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The Patriots improved to 11-8 with the win over the Bearcats.
Hartselle 57, Brewer 50
Rodney Stansberry led Hartselle’s win over rival Brewer with a game-high 18 points.
Stansberry added 10 rebounds to finish with a double-double.
Manquez Jones finished with 13 points, while Sam Fleischman added 11 points.
Brewer’s Josh Vance scored 14 points to lead the Patriots. Chris Dickerson added 13 in the loss.
Fairview 69, Priceville 60
Kristian Barker had 16 points and Jacolby Reid added 14 points in Priceville’s loss to Fairview.
Kody Smith finished with 12 points for the Bulldogs.
Fairview’s Nathan Ring and Chase Talley finished with 23 and 22 points respectively in the win.

Danville 54, Hamilton 51
Danville overcame a two-point deficit at the half to beat Class 4A Hamilton at home Monday in a game that was rescheduled due to the football playoffs.
Ashley Nance led the Lady Hawks with 19 points. Kayloni Cross finished with 13 points in the win.
Katie Palmer led Hamilton with 25 points.
Brewer 82, Cullman 42
Brewer picked up its 17th win in 18 games by beating Cullman by 42 points Monday.
Emily Dabbs had 15 points to pace the Lady Patriots. Morgan Crawley added 14 points.
Chelsey Smith and Heather Steelman both finished with 13 points, while Kendra Jones chipped in 12 points.
Brewer led 50-26 at the half.
Brewer 48, Hartselle 20
Brewer limited Hartselle to just nine points in the second half on the way to a 28-point win over the Lady Tigers.
The Lady Patriots’ Morgan Crawley led all scorers with 12 points. Emily Dabbs added 11 points and Elizabeth Bromirski finished with 10 points in the win.
Kendra Jones and Bromirski finished with seven rebounds each.
Hartselle’s Alex Holmes had seven points and seven rebounds.
Brewer 57, Decatur 54
The Lady Patriots stayed unbeaten with a 57-54 victory over Decatur Saturday.
Brewer held a slim 23-22 lead at the half and held on for the win over the Class 6A Lady Red Raiders.
Morgan Crawley scored 14 points to head the Lady Patriots’ offensive production. Heather Steelman added 12 points.
Brewer also got 11 points from Chelsey Smith.
Decatur’s Britney McCloud scored a game-high 20 points. Shannon Laughlin added 15 points for the Lady Red Raiders.
Priceville 87, Fairview 52
Melissa Johnson scored 19 points and pulled down 15 rebounds, while Callie Cox added 14 points as Priceville cruised to a win over Fairview Friday.
The Lady Bulldogs, now 12-9 overall, also got 14 points from Keila Hamlin and 12 points from Presley Darling. Amber Smith added 10 points in the win.
Danville 75, Carbon Hill 28
Danville hammered Carbon Hill behind a double-double performance from Ashley Nance, who finished with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Kayloni Cross finished with 14 points. She also added eight steals in the win.
Eleven players scored for the Lady Hawks.
