Praytor, Pirtle to exchange vows
Mike and Judy Praytor of Moulton announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Ann, to William Casey Pirtle, son of Harold and Deborah Pirtle of Trinity.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Barbara Praytor and the late Truman Praytor of Moulton and the late Bud Weaver of Hartselle.
A graduate of Hartselle High School, she graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama Honors Program with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a masters in marketing strategy and consulting.
She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and received the Outstanding Senior Award by the University of Alabama National Alumni Association.
She served as an assistant to Coach Gene Stallings in the Alabama football department and was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and Order of Omega.
She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta alumna, AEA and Who’s Who Among American High School Teachers.
The groom is the grandson of Loraine Pirtle and the late Raymond Pirtel of Decatur and James and Faye Zhand of Trinity.
A graduate of East Lawrence High School, he attended UAB and graduated from Athens State University. He was a football letterman at UAB.
He is employed by Lawrence County Schools and is assistant head coach of the East Lawrence football team and head softball coach. He is a member of AEA.
The wedding is planned for Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Hartselle.
