Funeral for Thomas G. Greeson, 63, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rob Jackson officiating.
Burial was in Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Greeson died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Oct. 31, 1945, in Jackson County to Grady Greeson and Nina Gray Greeson. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a Seebee. He was retired from Brown &Root as an electrical superintendent and from BP/Amoco as a planner. He was a member of St. John’s Masonic Lodge No. 1 in Wilmington, N.C., Red Wing Road Riders of America and Central Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Greeson.
He is survived by a son, Kevin Greeson and wife Kristi; a brother, Paul Greeson of La Port, Tex.; two grandchildren, Zachary Greeson and Kyler Greeson; and three stepgrandchildren, Dylan, Chloe and Walker Thompson.
Pallbearers were Steve Hillis, Dale Standridge, Morris “Buddy” Black, Ronnie Roop, Ricky Harp and Rodney Harp.
