Funeral for Arlin J. “Buddy” Montgomery, 53, of Hartselle will be today (Thursday) Jan. 29, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Johnny Reed officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Montgomery died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at his residence. He was born April 5, 1955, in Illinois to Harold Sturgis and Lois Sturgis. He loved and touched many lives and everyone loved him and he will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his father and a sister, Pamela Abbinante.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Vicki Glenn of Hartselle; a son, Arlin Jackie “Little Buddy” Montgomery, Jr. of Chicago, Ill.; his mother, Lois Sturgis of Chicago, Ill.; a brother-in-law, Tony Abbinante of Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Lynn Mackowiak of Chicago, Ill; three grandchildren, Jade, Trenton and Trinity Montgomery; two nieces, Jennett Mikos and husband John and Brittany Mackowiak and a great niece, Destiny Mikos.
Pallbearers will be Garnet Robert, Alan Glenn, Andy Maddox, Adam Maddox, Henry Minor and Karmel Rodgers.
