Funeral for Bannon Allen Oakley, 31, of Hartselle was Sunday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.
Entombment was at Roselawn Mausoleum.
Mr. Oakley died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Jan. 5, 1978, in Morgan County to Allen Oakley and Anna Jean Oakley Miller. He attended Shady Grove Baptist Church and was employed with WL&M Fabrication Co. He was a driver for the LaFavor racing team and an honorary member of Family Motorcycle Club.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Miller of Decatur; a sister, Courtnee Evans of Decatur; an aunt, Pat Taylor of Danville; a brother-in-law, Roger Evans of Decatur and a nephew, Cade Evans of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Roger Evans, Rick Stickles, Josh Berryman, Randall Kirkland, Judd Herndon and Greg Wolodkewitsch.
Honorary pallbearers were Gary LaFavor and Willie LaFavor.
