Funeral for Glen D. Borden, 81, of Hartselle was Saturday, Jan. 24, at 1 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Denzil Borden and Bro. Wendell Callahan officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Borden died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at his residence. He was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Lawrence County to Irvin Monroe Borden and Rosie Etta Borden.
He is survived by his wife, Inez Borden of Hartselle; three sons, Wayne Borden and wife Judy of Hartselle, Jimmy Borden and wife Deborah of Tennessee and Danny Borden and wife Maxine of Danville; a daughter, Sandy McClain of Hartselle; a brother, Burse Borden of Danville; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wayne, Jimmy, Danny, Mike, Allen, Terry and Brian Borden.
