Gracie Powell Drake Jones

A graveside service for Gracie Powell Drake Jones, 101, of Falkville was Saturday, Jan. 24, at Falkville City Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Snow officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home of Decatur directing.
Mrs. Jones died Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 20, 1907, in Morgan County to J.N. and Delia Clark Powell. She was a member of Ninth Street Methodist Church. She was the oldest living graduate of Falkville High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jones and two sons, Rev. Gerald Drake and Kenneth Drake.
She is survived by a daughter, Frances Drake Allred of Decatur; two sons, Mike Jones of Decatur and Tom Drake of Vinemont; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were family members.
