Funeral for Helen Sue Chop Mullin, 70, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), Jan. 29, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Leong officiating.
Burial will be in Oden Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Mullin died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at her residence. She was born Dec. 10, 1938, in Morgan County to William Claude Tapscott and Mary Carnell Tapscott. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Chop and a son David Mullin.
She is survived by a son, Stephen Chop, Jr. of Oden Ridge; three daughters, Pamela Berry of Gurley, Deborah Cox of Hartselle and Jennifer Chop of Madison; a brother, Jerry Tapscott of Michigan; a sister Carolyn Braswell of Fla.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
