James Dallas ‘Jimmy’ Garner, Jr.

Funeral for James Dallas “Jimmy” Garner, Jr., 57, of Hartselle will be Thursday, Feb. 5, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Nickey Pressnell and Russ Gordon officiating.
Burial will be in Herring Cemetery.
Mr. Garner died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at his residence. He was born January 4, 1952, in Morgan County to James D. Garner, Sr. and Dorothy G. McManus Garner. He worked at Dunlop Tire for 30 years and was a member of the Neel Church of Christ. He was a loving father and grandfather. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Jackie Lott Garner, for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Garner of Hartselle; three sons, Jim Garner and wife Deborah of Hartselle, Jason Garner and wife Laurie of Tuscumbia and Josh Garner and wife Anna of West Point; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Ford, Max Wright, Gary Smallwood, Tony Netherton, Ken Wynn and Jacob Roberts.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Borden, Ronnie Johnson, Mike Harper and co-workers of Dunlop Tire.
