Funeral for Lavern Sanford, 80, of Danville was Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dan Compton officiating.
Burial was in Friendship Cemetery.
Mrs. Sanford died Feb. 2, 2009, at her residence. She was born July 9, 1928, in Morgan County to Robert I. Hensley and Myrtle Wilburn Hensley. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Sanford of Danville; two brothers, Waymon Hensley and Delmar Hensley, both of Danville and a sister, Foree Porter of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were Rex Hensley, Eddie Crowe, Terry Porter, Keith Hensley, Tommy Hensley and Joel Prater.
