Members of the Hartselle High School Performers will be singing and dancing their way across the stage of the Princess Theatre Saturday night.
The annual Follies will be at the Princess Theatre Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. General admission is $10 and $7 for students and those 65 and older.
The variety show will feature an array of singing and dancing presented by the Performers. Numbers will include “Soul Man,” “Lady,” and “Hit Me with a Hot Note.”
Performers is made up of 24 students. They’ve been working on the Follies numbers since the beginning of school. No detail is too small for Thompson or choreographer Ashley Thompson to point out to members, who have to balance singing with dancing and performance. Previous shows have been sellouts and a large crowd is expected again this year.
Follies members are: Macon Armistead, Taylor Claire Bean, Zach Blocker, Ethan Boggs, Jervic Caparas, Houston Cleveland, Aaron Curtis, Sam Fleischman, Blocker Griffin, Will Hampton, Lauren Jones, Jennifer Lett, Brittany McCoy, Taylor Nelson, Tayor Nelson, Deborah Nichols, Amber Patterson, Bonnie Pike, Matt Ramey, Anna Shelton, Olivia Tennant, Daniel Walker, Laura Wauford and Ashley White.
