Funeral for Lassie Smith, 93, of Somerville was Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Smith officiating.
Burial was in Mt, Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died Sat., Feb. 14, 2009, at Marshall Medical Center. She was born Jan. 1, 1916, in Lawrence Country to William Randolph and Minnie Moore Randolph. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, C. Wesley Smith Sr.; a son, Wesley Smith Jr.; and a daughter, Doris Fowler.
She is survived by a son, Larry Smith and wife Rita of Somerville; three daughters, Carolyn Slaten and husband Burl of Hartselle, Judy Fowler and husband Thomas and Melissa Burnthall and husband Paul, all of Somerville; a son-in-law, Joe Fowler; a daughter-in-law, Ilene Smith; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons were pallbearers.
