Funeral for Michael Anthony Eaton will be Thursday (today), Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Eaton died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, at his residence. He was born September 9, 1947, in Morgan County to Alton Horace Eaton and Bonnie Moore Eaton. He served 13 years in the U.S. Navy (CeeBees) during the Vietnam War, where he served two tours. He retired as an electrician from Engelhard Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Eaton of Danville; three sons, Chris Sandlin of Decatur, Mike Eaton of Hartselle and Dennis Eaton of Danville; a brother, Joe Eaton of Decatur; two sisters, Hazel Parker of Hartselle and Martha Carroll of Moulton; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe McColloch, Phillip Eagle, Jim Gilliam, Jim McCulloch, Charlie Carroll and Pete Tischer.
