Funeral for Duane Long, 67, of Danville will be Thursday (today), March 5, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Elder officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Long died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at his residence. He was born October 25, 1941, in Morgan County to Ruby “Penney” Arrell Long and Annie Florence Johnson Long. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rubenia Long Wynn.
He is survived by two brothers, Maurice Long of Guntersville and Medford Long of Hartselle.
Pallbearers will be Lamar Brown, Joe McAbee, Bobby McCaughren, Thomas Cooper and Rassie Wallace.
