Funeral for Glenn Edward Holmes, 77, of Falkville was Sunday, March 1, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Nelson officiating.
Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery in Falkville.
Mr. Holmes died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born October 9, 1931, in Cullman County to George Washington Holmes and Ionie Sylvester Handley Holmes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Nell Holmes and his parents.
He is survived by a son, Michael Holmes and wife Amanda of Cullman; a daughter, Shelia Conley and husband Ricky of Hartselle; two sisters, Azzlee Owens and Maggie Dye, both of Cullman; and three grandchildren, Alexis, Brooke and Jason Holmes.
Pallbearers were Terry Dye, Jason Holmes, Dennis Dye, Kevin Jones and Scotty Aldridge.
